Overview
At St Paul's, we have designed a curriculum to meet the needs of our school and the community we serve.
Our focus on ‘educating the whole child’ sits at the heart of our decision-making. At St Paul's, 'we believe all children can learn and achieve their potential regardless of their background, needs or abilities, and we are determined to make that happen'.
Our mission statement was also a key inspiration when creating our curriculum.
We journey together: loving learning; daring to discover; caring for all; with Jesus as our guide.
We journey together – the staff, governors and parents are responsible for creating a valuable learning experience and an enriched curriculum for our children.
Loving learning – our pupils gain a joy of learning through a broad, balanced and inspiring curriculum that is driven by pupils’ needs and interests.
Daring to discover – we enable children to learn by connecting them to their local, national and global world and by creating a curriculum that opens doors to new experiences and opportunities.
Caring for all – we have built a curriculum that supports every pupil to excel, regardless of the challenges they may face.
With Jesus as our guide – Holding the Catholic faith true to our hearts, we use the gospel values to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and the example he set.
